State police were investigating an overnight home invasion robbery in Somerset County.

Troopers were dispatched at about 1 a.m. yesterday to a residence on Lowry Road in Somerset Township, where two women and a man reported they had been bound and robbed.

The women, Tammy Mayhugh, 43, and Tammie Arntz, 47, both of Somerset, and Charlie Grant of Norristown, said three suspects argued with Mr. Grant before the robbery.

The three said they were tied up and their money and cell phones were taken before the intruders fled.

Troopers at the scene said they found illegal drugs and paraphernalia in the residence during the robbery investigation.

No charges had been filed yesterday against the occupants of the home, and no arrests have been made regarding the intrusion and robbery.
