Task force nabs two fugitives in Garfield, Hill

The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force arrested two wanted men in separate incidents yesterday.

Toriano Demetrius Cameron, 36, of South Carolina, was arrested around 2 p.m. in the 4800 block of Kincaid Street in Garfield. Pittsburgh police charged him Aug. 21 with rape and corruption of a minor in a January 2002 incident.

Earlier in the day, task force members arrested Damar Brown, 20, of the Hill District, after finding him hiding under a bed in a building in the 2100 block of Elmore Square, Hill District. He was wanted by Pittsburgh police on charges of robbery, unlawful restraint and simple assault.

Both men were taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
