Successful golf outing

The annual Passavant Memorial Homes Foundation golf outing Aug. 18 at Cranberry Highlands Golf Course raised $70,000 toward the purchase of a mobile dental unit for the newly formed Passavant Memorial Homes subsidiary, Accessible Dental Services.

Accessible Dental provides care to people with intellectual and physical disabilities. A mobile unit will permit Accessible Dental to travel to all communities in Western Pennsylvania.

Last year's event raised funds to complete the restoration of stained glass windows at Fruth Chapel on the Rochester campus. A rededication service will be held in the fall to unveil the restored chapel and to recognize all contributors.
