No work is scheduled in either direction on the mainline of the Parkway East/Interstate 376 this weekend for the summer-long rehabilitation between the Edgewood-Swissvale and Business Route 22 interchanges.

Restrictions and closures already in effect on ramps throughout the work zone will, however, remain in place until as late as 6 a.m. Monday.

Also, along the mainline, shoulders will be closed while all inbound and outbound through lanes remain open, so the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has advised motorists to drive with caution.

On the opposite side of Pittsburgh, the Parkway West will be limited to one lane in each direction between the Business Route 60/Route 60 split east of Pittsburgh International Airport. Workers will be paving from 8 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Monday.

In addition, the on-ramp from Robinson Town Centre to the Parkway West inbound will be closed. A detour will be posted.
